The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) does not appear to operate a dedicated unclaimed property program.

No Uniform Unclaimed Property Act is enacted in the Commonwealth Code, there is no public online search, and CNMI records are not listed on MissingMoney.com. There is no state-style database of escheated accounts to search. General questions can be directed to the CNMI Department of Finance, Division of Revenue and Taxation, in Saipan.

With no formal program to search, the practical steps are:

  1. Go to the holder directly. If a specific business, bank, or employer in the CNMI owes you funds, contact that organization first.
  2. Check the reporting state. If a CNMI address appears in another jurisdiction's unclaimed property record, the property is held by that state, not the CNMI. Follow the state listed in the record.
  3. Ask the CNMI Department of Finance. For general guidance, the Division of Revenue and Taxation in Saipan is the relevant government office.
